50 minutes of TKO class (like Tae-bo)
When I went to the gym today I fully intended on running 4-5 miles on the dreadmill. The gym owner told me the tv's would be working on the machines, so I was all set to bust out a long run. Once I arrived, however, they were NOT working, and my iphone had only 30% battery. That is definitely not enough for a long run. Could I have done it without music and tv?
So- I went upstairs and did a fitness on demand video. I found a nice boxing video that took 50 minutes. I felt like a total fool doing a boxing class all by myself, but no one could see me (thank goodness!) I burned 555 calories, so it wasn't too bad. Even though I was sad I couldn't run, I didn't have much time anyway, as I was supposed to go meet my husband for lunch. It was just short enough for me to make it home in time.

| LOVE this thing. |
| Me looking super lame sauce. Wore my compression socks and everything. FAIL. |
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. If you are ever feeling down about yourself, go visit a factory. Seriously. I'm not joking here. I felt like a model walking out of that place. I was feeling HUGE when I was working out today, so that was a nice change to my day. It was my first time touring where my husband works, and it was neat for me to meet all the people he always talks about. Everyone was super nice, and a little hispanic guy said I was a "very beautiful senorita!" Um, love him!
When I left his work I came home and started watching my all time favorite movie, Pride & Prejudice. I just love it! I could watch it a million times and not get tired of it. I told my husband I caught myself just smiling at the screen various times while watching it. Yeah, I'm that girl.
What is your favorite (guilty pleasure or otherwise) movie?
My favorite guilty pleasure movie is the early 90s Disney musical smash hit (or not).... The Newsies. I even dragged all my friends to go see it on Broadway for my bachelorette party last summer!
ReplyDeletehaha that's awesome!! Disney movies will never go out of style- they are so good!
DeleteFavorite movie would have to be Playing by Heart. It is the movie I know most of the words to because I have watched it so many times.
ReplyDeleteI've never watched that... I'll have to add it to my list!
